Lazy Weekend

Or otherwise named, "Too Social Weekend". A brief summary since the 10th...Monday and Tuesday were the Finals in a few classes, so I sorta studied for those...Got 4.0......Wednesday Mutual was a fail, Sam didn't remind anyone that we weren't having one O_o ((It's time they get a new president-seriously, one of every two or three weeks he's here, and when he is, he doesn't seem to even try to do much........Oh! Thursday was the Broadway Review! :D That was great! I totally loved it- Teagan was in it ;) but it was a collection of songs and dances from a very diverse group of plays and musicals. These songs were chosen, choreagraphed, directed, and performed all by the students! My favorites were Confrontation from Jekyll and Hyde. It was freaking awesome how he sang a song and switched back and from between the doctor and the Mr. They also changed the lights everytime he switched, for a while.

Other good songs were Hero from Footloose, Sisters from White Christmas, Be Prepared from The Lion King, Take Me or Leave Me from Rent, and unfortunately, You can't stop the beat from hairspray -_- Hero was a ton of girls in punk hats and shirts (with superhero shirts on underneath) and it was epic. Sisters was two cute girls with fans that came on and sang very high pitched, and sisterly. During this, two handsome guys watched from the back, (next to Teagan, who was in a ticket booth throughout all of the songs) At the end of the sisters song, their train whistle blew, and asked the guys to do them a favor. They pulled the guys off stage and the lights when out. When the lights turned back on, The Guys Were Wearing The SKIRTS and FANS!!! It was freaking hilarious! Be Prepared was Scar rallying up his forces, and it was epic. Teagan was one of the hyenas. Take me or Leave Me was interesting as it was one guy that had four girlfriends, and as they all fought over him. I won't say anything about........but it had everyone in it, so it was good.

So, Hudson and Parker came with me to that, and Mitchell persuaded Mom to let them stay for a sleepover, which Connor eventually joined. We stayed up till 4, switching between Mario, Brawl for a tiny bit, Carl's Booty for a little bit, and a lot of Halo. Woops. Sorry, but we didn't play it cause it was M, mom, if your reading this. We established a game called Hunters and Runners. One or Two people are confined to a small hill in the middle of the map. They have Sniper Rifles, and grenades, equipment, and a few explosive weapons. They are unable to leave that spot. They are attempting to stop one or two Runners, people with various shields, attempting to ride Mongooses (ATV's) from one side, to the other. Many moons ago, me and Connor designed this map, I made bubble and over shields for the Runners, He made Rifles and Grenades for the Hunters, and we built a dangerous map. In the river (which at one point went under the hill, in range of his EMP) He set about 10 fusion coils in a row- One shot, and the entire river explodes, sending nearby Runners flying :D
There was also a Warthog minefield- Connor placed Fusion Coils below the Warthogs, and the effect was eerie to a Runner- As you drive past, Warthogs get sent flying, doing Barrel Rolls, and lighting on fire. I died once cause one landed on me :O

The gameplay itself is awesome for a Runner, and tricky for a Hunter. For Runners, you feel invincible because it takes a LOOOOOt to knock you off, besides an EMP or a snipe to the head. For Hunters, it's very frustating, as you can't really move but these guys are all over the place. It takes at least 3 shots to take a Spartan out, or a well aimed Snipe. That is much easier said then done. However, it gives REally good practice, I guess. You also have EMPs and Grenades and Brute Shots so if you can't snipe, you have to Brute Shot them with two sets of rounds, or hit them with an even harder to hit grenade.

Runners score by getting from one side of the map to the other (Valhalla) and they need 50 points. Hunters score by taking them out in anyway possible (using the weapons allowed, and staying in the area) and need 25 points.

When we played it, it was mostly just me, Connor, and Hudson as it always is. Parker's not very good at Hunting, and is okay at Running. Mitchell is also okay at Running, but he was so frustrated with Hunting that he made Rocket Launchers, went outside the area, and blew the rules in general, which is the entirety of this game. It's fun when you abide by the rules, but as soon as you break them, the game sucks. However...for the Runners, I made Teleports in the rocks and waterfalls, which lead to the top of the tower, and there.......were missle launchers (otherwise known as-
"JUDGEMENT RAINS DOWN FROM THE HEAVENS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!")

So that was fun. We woke up on friday, they hung out till lunch, then came back an hour later O_o I had been planning an Avatar party for a while, since no one had seen it yet (besides me and connor who had seen it twice already) the partygoers were Connor Hudson Ross Andrew Zach his bro Aysha and Teagan. Picking up everyone besides Zach and Teagan was stressful, as Andrew lived aways away. When we got there we discovered Teagan had gone to the wrong theater, but later figured out after the movie that she came in 40 minutes late, although didn't tell us.

Again, that movie was totally wicked awesome!!! Third's time the charm with my glasses ;) Not everyone agreed with me, but James Cameron is serious business. (Titanic, now Avatar) JUst, just, go see it. Love it. WORSHIP IT! :D

Later, we came back, had pizza, drinks, and gamed and pooled till 11. This party was a near success, but definately not for Teagan. Late to the movie, not able to connect with the videogame peoples. She left early of her own accord :(
Otherwise it was good...

And that led to this lazy saturday. I woke up, gamed, did my chores, bedged all day, then we went to see Grandpa (after his successful surgery, and his good recovery), went to Chili's with Jason, and also visited Brandt and his farewell.

Since I was thoughtless today, and kept busy through the week, I wasn't thinking too much. Not about anything deep, at least. Maybe of The Lost Symbol, or of my Resume and Application, but not much else...Sorry to let you down...70517110...

Good night.

P.S. that code was actually D517150. I have found the correct code from Lost Symbol.
